Stela
Office Manager
Stela is an experienced Dental Office Manager with over 10 years of expertise in managing busy dental practices. Known for her strong leadership and organizational skills, Stela ensures smooth day-to-day operations, from patient scheduling to insurance coordination and team management. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for patients and fostering a positive, efficient workplace for staff. Stela stays up to date with the latest dental software and compliance standards to keep the practice running at its highest potential.
Stela is also fluent in Romanian, Russian, and Spanish. Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and traveling.
Shannon
Treatment Coordinator
Shannon graduated from South Puget Sound Community College in 2009 with an Associate of Applied Science degree and a Certificate of Completion in Dental Assisting. She spent 12 years working chairside as a dental assistant before transitioning to the front office, where she now uses her clinical knowledge and compassionate nature to help patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for.
A proud Pacific Northwest native, Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors—especially camping, going for walks, traveling to the East Coast, and trips to the movies. Outside of work, she stays busy as a devoted wife & mom of five active boys, cheering them on through their many sports and activities.
Anna
Scheduling Coordinator
With over 10 years of experience in dentistry as an office administrator, Anna brings professionalism, compassion, and a strong understanding of patient care to every interaction. She takes pride in helping patients navigate their treatment plans, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their decisions. Fluent in Russian, she is able to connect with a broader range of patients and provide support in their preferred language.
Outside of the dental office, she enjoys traveling, paddleboarding, playing volleyball, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Wendy
Scheduling Coordinator
With over five years of experience in the dental field, Wendy specializes in front desk operations and patient care. From managing appointments to answering questions and coordinating care. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Known for her warm smile and positive vibes, Wendy brings a friendly, upbeat energy to the office every day.
Outside of work, Wendy is a proud mom of three amazing kids who keep her on her toes. Life is busy, but she values the balance between her career and family. There’s never a dull moment, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Amanda
Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and has been a valued member of our team since 2013. She is deeply passionate about the oral-systemic connection and is committed to helping patients understand how oral health impacts overall wellness. With a strong focus on advanced dental hygiene techniques, Amanda integrates myofunctional therapy, airway assessment, and thorough intra- and extraoral screenings into her patient care.
Her goal is to provide comprehensive, personalized care while educating and empowering patients to take an active role in their health. Known for her warm and friendly approach, Amanda ensures that every visit is both comfortable and informative.
Outside of the office, Amanda and her husband love to travel and are always ready for a spontaneous getaway. She also enjoys painting, boating, camping, attending classic car shows, and spending time with family and friends. In addition, Amanda owns a floral business, creating beautiful arrangements for weddings and large events in her “spare time.”
Kristie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kristie attended Western Washington University where she received her Bachelor’s in Arts and Spanish. In 2016, she went on to receive her associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Pierce College, and has been with Dove Family Dentistry ever since.
Kristie is a Puyallup native and currently lives in the Puyallup Valley with her husband, her daughter and son. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. On the weekend, you might find her trying new restaurants, taking their dog for a walk, or working on her newest sewing project.
Haylee
Registered Dental Hygienist
Haylee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University and began her career at Dove Family Dentistry in 2021. She is passionate about creating a comfortable dental experience, educating patients, and helping bridge the vital connection between oral and overall health. Two of her favorite parts of being a dental hygienist are working with people and always having the opportunity to learn something new. Haylee is committed to providing gentle, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside the dental office, Haylee is actively involved in her church, where she finds joy serving as a middle school youth group leader. She loves flower gardening (especially pink cosmos!), traveling to new places (Ireland & Maui are her favorite destinations!), staying active, and spending time outdoors.
Bethany
Registered Dental Hygienist
Bethany has been part of the dental field since 2005 and earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Pima Medical Institute in 2022. She is passionate about caring for patients and helping them understand how oral health affects their overall well-being.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and their four daughters. She also volunteers in children’s ministry and dreams of one day traveling to underserved communities to share her passion for dental care.
Joey
Registered Dental Hygienist
Joey is a passionate and dedicated dental hygienist who graduated from the Pierce College Dental Hygiene program in 2016. She is a certified Biological Dental Hygienist through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and is also trained in myofunctional therapy, bringing a whole-body, root-cause approach to oral health. With a deep belief in the connection between oral health and overall wellness, Joey focuses on restoring balance through gentle, patient-centered care. She strives to make every visit a safe, comfortable, and even enjoyable experience—transforming what is often seen as a stressful appointment into a time of healing, connection, and laughter (which you’re likely to hear coming from her corner of the office!).
Outside of the dental world, Joey homeschools her three children and embraces a vibrant, nature-centered lifestyle. She enjoys, above all, spending every extra minute with her family, as well as hiking, gardening, reading, and expressing her creativity through art and music. Her motivation? To be the best hygienist God created her to be—serving others with compassion, integrity, and joy. Her goal is that every patient leaves their appointment feeling better than when they entered the office.
Toree
Registered Dental Hygienist
Toree is a compassionate dental hygienist who strives to make every patient feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their smile. She values building lasting relationships and helping patient achieve healthy, happy smiles through education and personalized care.
Outside the office, Toree loves spending time with her family and enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Whether gardening, playing tennis, hiking, or camping, she finds joy in the outdoors—and at home, life is busy in the best ways with her young daughter, dogs, and backyard chickens.
Katheen
EFDA – Restorative Assistant
Katheen (rhymes with “caffeine”) joined the Dove Family Dentistry Team in 2014. Katheen graduated Clover Park Technical College in December of 2003, where she received her Dental Assisting Certification. Growing up in a military family, she lived all over the United States. Her interest in dentistry was first piqued through her grandfather, a U.S. Navy Dental Assistant, who later worked in Dental Sales. It was at that time that she was able to travel with him and experience dentistry. In 2020, Katheen graduated from South Puget Sound Community College, where she obtained her EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) License.
Katheen has a number of hobbies including gemology, naturopathic medicine, painting, karaoke and much more. Katheen’s vast knowledge of many subjects keeps us enlightened and entertained daily. On the weekends, she enjoys getting out and having fun with her husband and their Boston Terrier, Dezzi.
Heather
EFDA – Restorative Assistant
Heather is a California native, but loves the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College in 2005 as a Registered Dental Assistant. In 2015, she completed her Expanded Function Dental Assistant training from South Puget Sound Community College. Heather joined Dove Family Dentistry in the summer of 2019 and has been a wonderful addition to our team.
She loves working with children, so the family atmosphere has been a great match for her passion and skills. Heather strives every day to provide the highest quality of care with special consideration for each patient’s individual needs. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking and camping with her family near Whidbey Island.
Honiala
Hygiene Assistant / Sterilization Technician
Honiala “Honi” joined the team at Dove Family Dentistry as our newest Hygiene Assistant/Sterilization Technician. She graduated from Washington High School with honors in June of 2021. After graduation, Honi immersed herself in leadership training. She had the privilege of serving alongside her church staff as an administrative intern, heading up its children and youth ministries, training incoming leaders and volunteers, as well as managing the church’s social media content and marketing.
Honi has a heart for service. She has spent several summers in Nepal and Mexico providing local communities and churches with humanitarian relief. Honi is part of a large Filipino/Hawaiian family and loves spending time with them. When not busy with her own family, she enjoys calligraphy, bullet journaling and reading.
Valeria
Sterilization Technician
Valeria is passionate about dentistry and finds great joy in helping others through her work. She thrives in a learning environment and is always eager to expand her skills and knowledge. Valeria holds an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree and has a deep love for painting and drawing, which she sees as a meaningful creative outlet.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new experiences, and staying curious about the world around her.
Lola
Sterilization Technician
Lola Green is a dedicated team member at Dove Family Dentistry, where she has been a valued patient for nine years before joining the practice. Passionate about oral health, Lola is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene (BASDH). Outside of work, she enjoys music, reading, and spending quality time with her four younger siblings.
