I’ve been a loyal patient at this dental office for over 20 years, and I’ve always appreciated the care and professionalism I’ve received. However, I was disappointed with my most recent visit. I scheduled a dental cleaning four months in advance, but when I arrived, I was not informed until the end of the appointment that there wouldn’t be enough time for the cleaning I originally requested. This was very frustrating, as I had been expecting the cleaning and was not given any notice beforehand that it would not be possible during this visit. Had I been informed ahead of time, I would have gladly scheduled additional time to ensure the cleaning could be completed. Now, I have to wait for another appointment, with no clear timeline on when that will be available. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that communication around scheduling and appointment expectations can be improved for long-time and new patients alike. Clearer advance notice would help prevent these kinds of situations and make better use of everyone’s time.
